Validity of shoulder MRI

2026-03-28 04:49:31
I have shoulder pain for last five months. I took a MRI. It said the following. Supraspinatus tendinosis without evidence of tear. Mild acromioclavicular joint arthropathy. Minimal subacromial–subdeltoid bursitis. MRI of neck is normal. I have not had any significant pain relief yet. Pain is still same. My doubt is - How long is the mri taken in Jan 2026 valid for ? There has not been any injuries or falls after that. For my condition , for how long should I consider this mri valid ?

You can get a new MRI done only if your symptoms are increasing By that time you can consult and get examined

MRI is still valid as pathology is degenerative.
Next Steps
MRI becomes outdated if new symptoms developed or no there is no improvement.
