Itching in vagina may be due to variety of reasons. And may require longer medical treatment. Many times, itching may be due to infections which are usually transmitted to/ and from partner.

It’s most likely candida or fungal infection Who did you saw that’s important. If there is discharge then it needs to be evaluated Most Conan medications given are Fluconazole / Azithromycin / Secnidazole I would recommend to get a Urine test also and if there is a discharge get that checked too. Make sure if there is an active partner they are managed as well. Sometimes even the condom latex can cause issues Make sure to get checked if there is itching in other parts of the body as well to rule out scabies because it needs different treatment Best is to get a local consult with a Dermatologist or you may book a tele-consult with me here .
