I have had vaginal itching for a few weeks now where on labia and inside walls of my vaginal were itching severely. I did scratch them and today it hurt to urinate. I went to an in-clinic appointment with a gynaecologist today and she prescribed me candid gel for application in that area. However, after coming back home I took a closer look and noticed red bumps all over my inner labia where I had scratched the itch. The area is also slightly grey. Is it a fungal infection or something more serious? Background info: I am not and have never been sexually active.
