No need to worry for pain, fever, swelling after vaccination.  Its common after vaccination   If baby is crancky , exessive cry, swelling and fever then   Give paracetmol drops to baby for 1-2 days  Fever, pain will decreases in next 1 -2 days  Don't apply anything over vaccination site  It cause decrease in the efficiency of given vaccine   Cont. to give feed as per demand  Keep ur baby well hydrated  Keep a watch on urine output  Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day  Swelling will take it's own time to disappear. 

There are many ways,  some works before giving the vaccine, some during while some after. There are techniques to distract a child, techniques of holding and positioning, applying anesthetic gels, pain killer and some recent devices to Ward off the pain. Do consult to discuss about each vaccine and how to counter the pain involved.
