That bleeding is known as implantation bleeding and is common, it can however also be a small blood clot below the pregnancy. Most likely it will not affect pregnancy.

If the ultrasound at 7 weeks shows a normal cardiac activity nothing to worry spotting will settle down with rest and progesterone support

Hi firstly congratulation’s for your pregnancy. . As planned get your scan done . Once scan confirms babies heart beat and no bleeding inside the uterus then that’s fine . Some times implantation bleeding happens that’s common settles on its own . If ur having ongoing spotting get your scan done sooner . If any SCH ( sub chorionic bleeding ) and on going spotting after scan then you need progesterone supplement’s . Good luck .
