Hematuria, or blood in the urine, can be either gross (visible) or microscopic (blood cells only visible through a microscope). The causes for microscopic hematuria could be urinary tract infection, renal stones, trauma, medications, etc. Your symptoms are suggestive of urinary tract infection as the other causes would've been spotted in your investigations. You would require antibiotics, antacids and an alkalyzing agent. Stay hydrated, aim to drink 3 liters of water per day. If the condition persists or worsens visit the urologist at the earliest.
