• This appears to be post-waxing irritant dermatitis / mild superficial skin burn • Common after waxing due to heat, friction, and temporary skin barrier damage • The redness and burning are usually temporary and not serious Next Steps: • Apply cold compress for soothing (10–15 mins, 2–3 times/day) • Use a calming moisturizer (aloe vera gel / bland moisturizer like Cetaphil) • If burning is more → apply mild steroid cream (like Hydrocortisone 1%) for 2–3 days • Avoid deodorants, perfumes, or any actives on the area for a few days • If signs of infection (pus, severe pain, increasing redness) → consult doctor Helpful Tips / Words of Caution: • Avoid tight clothing and friction in the area • Do not scratch or rub • Next time: ensure proper technique, clean waxing, and post-wax soothing care • Sensitive skin → consider trimming/laser instead of frequent waxing • Usually settles within 2–5 days Kindly consult with me via Practo for detailed evaluation and treatment
