Hi, I’m glad you raised your concern here. Whatever you’re saying can happen to anyone. You will have to read this to understand what is happening in your condition and then help yourself.
This could be happening to you due underlying factors (in the unconscious mind) that you may not be completely aware of. Since you aren’t aware of it, you punish h yourself further for not being able to do what you’ve decided consciously. This further adds to irritation and frustration and therefore again stops you from focusing on what you wish to do.
E.g. a person May believe Math is hard, now we knowingly unknowingly function out of our beliefs. So because Math is hard, the topics in this subject are perceived differently than topic in some other subject like English (which may not be considered difficult for the person). For math, it may so be that ‘I hate it, I won’t understand it anyway, I will never do well, etc.’ you may consciously not know this. As a result of this, certain feelings are generated and you don’t know why and eventually your behaviour is affected I.e. not opening the books or not remembering answers, etc. adding to more frustration and so on.
Next Steps
I’m going to list a few things that you could try, however if that doesn’t help- please see a psychologist.
Health Tips
1- forget routine- if there are multiple subjects, pick any topic that you like. Figure out, can you study that? Is it a specific topic that bother you?
2- check if you could study in groups with friends
3-Just record some of the answers on your phone/recorder by reading them out. Keep listening to them on and off, check if that helps.
4- sleep well and eat nutritious food.
5-exercise once a day for 40mins
