I have been wearing spectacles with -1 CYL, 180° on both lenses since couple of years. Recently I went for a regular check up where the doctor prescribed .25 increase in CYL on both eyes and an additional -.25 SPH power on left eye. I couldn't adjust to these new glasses after wearing for two days so I went back to the doctor who insisted that I must continue with his prescribed lenses. However I went for a second and third check up at other clinics where I was prescribed same power of -1 CYL.
ask your doctor for duochrome balance test and binocular under correction test . that will give a clue and i think you should stick to old glasses if you are able to see 6/6 clearly binovularly
