Hello
First we need to understand what hernia is!!
Imagine your tummy like a cloth bag, and the muscles are like the stitching on that bag. If the stitching near the belly button becomes weak, something from inside can start to push out like a small bulge. That’s what we call a hernia. Just like a torn stitch in a bag doesn’t get fixed with medicine—you need to sew it—similarly, a hernia needs surgery to fix the weak spot.
That 1cm hernia mentioned means the defect in your abdominal muscle is 1cm and your abdominal content is pushing through it.
Medicines can’t repair the muscle weakness. Surgery is the only way to fix it properly. It’s a small and safe operation, and there’s nothing to be scared of.
It’s not an emergency surgery but you should get it done as soon as possible as over the time that defect can increase in size, just like the small tear in a cloth. If you don’t stitch it on time and keep using the cloth, the tear keeps getting bigger.

Health Tips
Avoid things that increase pressure on your tummy—like coughing, constipation, or lifting heavy objects. If you’re overweight, try to reduce some weight, as that will help reduce the strain on the hernia and prevent it from getting worse.
