It could be due to frequent contractions of eyelid muscles,a benign condition.Dont stress your eyes, apply warm water compress, take magnesium bisglycinate once a day for a few days

This looks like a  muscle or nerve twitching issue. Since you also had similar twitching in the biceps earlier, it would be better to evaluate the pattern properly rather than guessing. Nothing serious from your description at present, so don’t panic. Do connect for a consultation I’ll guide you regarding the possible causes, required tests if needed, and a proper treatment lifestyle plan to help the twitching settle faster.

Eyelid twitching (Ocular Myokymia) is a common, usually benign condition caused by spontaneous firing of the nerves supplying the eyelid muscles. Since you have a history of this occurring in other muscles like the biceps, it suggests your nervous system is currently in a state of 'hyperexcitability.' While you mention stress is 'nothing much,' even low-level chronic stress combined with digital eye strain (given your -3.00 refractive error) and potential micronutrient imbalances can trigger these persistent spasms."
Next Steps
do connect and consult with me for better. treatment plan and advice on practo app and To discuss a short course of muscle relaxants or specific nerve-stabilizing supplements to stop the twitching, please book a full consultation session via my Practo profile."
Health Tips
Caffeine Audit: "Reduce your intake of coffee, tea, and energy drinks. Caffeine is a powerful stimulant that can significantly worsen muscle twitching by increasing nerve firing rates." Warm Compresses: "Apply a warm compress to the twitching eye for 5 minutes before sleep. This helps relax the localized muscle fibers and improves circulation to the area." Caution: "Do not ignore the twitching if it spreads to other parts of your face or if your eyelid begins to close completely (blepharospasm). These require a more detailed neurological evaluation." Red Flags: "Seek a medical review if the twitching is accompanied by facial weakness, drooping of the eyelid, or if the twitching persists 24/7 for more than 4 weeks without any break."

Muscle & eye twitching (fasciculations) suggest Magnesium or B12 deficiency, or stress-related overload. No red flags here. Check Mg, B12, calcium levels. Reduce caffeine, improve sleep. Consult me privately for a personalised plan.
