I twisted my ankle as I fell down, the area is swollen, i did use the ice pack and hot water with salt as well, is it necessary for me to go to the doctor?

Kindly go to a orthopaedician get a x-ray done. Yo may need a plaster cast.

If it is swollen and painful You should ideally get an Xray to see if there is any fracture or not Then decide for further treatment
