Cost varies from hospital to hospital. In government hospital, it may be free or nominal. Recovery depends on the surgery. Laparoscopic ligation recovers in a day while a laparotomy requires a week.

There are many types of operations. If you don't have ego problem , please go to a Government Hospital. It will be done free of cost and you will be in the hospital only for few hours. Now don't ask for procedure of operations.
