I have a question, is it absolutely impossible to conceive if Tsh is above 2.5? Please provide an answer in simple terms. Appreciate the help doctors.

TSH around 2.5 is optimal for conception. A value of more than 5 makes it difficult but not impossible.

Hi, yes TSH upto 4 is considered normal for pregnancy and even if its higher than that, one can take medications and continue pregnancy. TSH- 2.5 is a normal level to conceive.
