Hi, 6 months back, TSH has decreased to 6.75 from 8. So I decreased dosage from 25mcg to 12.5mcg. Now my TSH increased to 10.87 again. What is the dosage recommended for her age(51)

The dosage of thyroid medication depends on level of TSH and patients weight. Would advice against changing dose until the TSH is normal and without doctors recommendation. Based on TSH, recommend a starting dose of 50 mcg and rechecking thyroid tests in 6 weeks to assess response

Control of thyroid is not easy. Stick with your doctor and follow his advice. Otherwise you will keep on swaying in the see-saw.
