TSH 10 to 0.13!
70 yrs, newly diagnosed TSH was 10. Dr gave Thyronorm 50 mcg to take for 2 months. TSH thereafter now came 0.13 ! T3 is 0.97, T4 is 8.42.
Patient is asymptomatic. Has early cirrhosis, hypertension. Prediabetes Hba1c was 6 earlier. Now FBS 94, ppbs 169. Takes Istamet 50/500.
1) Was Thyronorm dose more than required? What to do now? Is this serious?
2) Can this cause heart or liver issue?
