I have been suffering from Varicose Veins for many years and suddenly one day when I got up in the morning My Varicose Veins Rupture and started releasing Serum and I immediately consulted a General Physician who did dressing and Prescribed Levoflox and Lansaprazole 30 MG and advised to consult a Vascular Specialist. Please advise is it necessary to consult a Vascular Specialist as My wound is completely healed .

Yes, see the vascular specialist - the healed wound is not the point. A vein that burst on its own means long-standing venous hypertension, and untreated it will ulcerate again, usually worse and slower to heal the next time. Get a venous Doppler of both legs; that decides between laser/RFA ablation, sclerotherapy or surgery. Till then, class II graduated compression stockings worn from morning, leg elevation above heart level several times a day, walking daily and no long standing. Antibiotics and pantoprazole treated the infection, not the disease. If the leg becomes red, hot, painful, swells suddenly or bleeds again, lie down, elevate the leg, press firmly and get to a hospital the same day.
