Travel with ACL tear

I've been diagnosed with full ACL tear 8 days ago. I understand it requires a surgery. But I've a full paid trip in 2.5 weeks. Can I get the surgery before the trip or is it fine if I walk without it for the trip? Also I'm using a very firm knee brace with 0 angle while walking and 90 while sitting

You take rest for.now... Can walk or travel with the brace on ..just take pain killers. Opt for reconstruction once you are back.

Surgery recovery will be in few days and Post Operative rehab will be there for 3 to 6 weeks. You can travel with ease after rehab.. During rehab also you can travel...but with bracing n few restrictions
