You haven't mentioned whether your tooth is impacted or in proper occlusion. Partially impacted wisdoms will give problem in one or other way.if your wisdom tooth is in line and decayed then also you will have sharp pain and difficulties you mentioned.so visit your dentist and get a X-ray done for proper diagnosis.if it is impacted get it out and save yourself from any future trouble.but if it is decayed you can save it through Rct ,if opposing teeth is present.

wisdom tooth is alway problem some do salt water gargling and pain management can be done pain killer, if situation does not come under control , the only treatment is extraction
