Throbbing pain in tooth that was prepared for crown after rct was completed

Hi sir...    Usually pain after RCT uncommon..     It  is due to so many cause... **over instrumentation which cause periapical inflammation **improper instrumentation **some times bitting of the concerned tooth(It needs occlusal relief) **sometimes pain or infection in nearby teeth also cause reffered pain in the Root aal treated tooth **improper obturation may cause retrograde spread of infection **improper coronal seal also cause spread of infection First and foremost x_ray(IOPA) should be taken to evaluate the obturation

Generally pain after RCT should not be there But it can be due to many reasons Sometimes due to pressure pain or immediate crown cementation post RCT Also there can be some gum related problems and many more factors Kindly consult the dentist for treatment

Hi.. Plz visit your dentist for the same. Ask if after crown cementation there is pain what is treatment plan? PAIN MAY BE DUE TO OTHER DENTAL ISSUES. NEED EVALUATION.

Hi After crown preparation you might have slight gum pain which is normal .If the  pain is more severe over the tooth and on time of biting then it should be addressed . Take antibiotic course and wait &watch . After it subsides then proceed with the crown.

Pain after RCT should be investigated. Reinfection should be ruled out. Do not get the crown fitted till the pain has been resolved
