Hi my son has tooth infection already his two tooth have been removed due to cavity now he is again complaining of pain. Can I give him metrogyl and paracetamol for three days.

You need a xray to see the cause of pain. Take:- Syp Augmentin DUO 330mg/3.3ml half tsp twice daily for 5 days Syp Ibugesic 250 mg half tsp SOS if it pains. for 5 days Warm saline rinses between meals Rx as per the xray

Better give only paracetamol now..

Hello.. Wheather pain is in the same area where teeth has been removed then please attach a pic of that affected area.. Kindly check for ulcer which is very common in kids..

for time being u can start.. syrup. Ibugesic plus 5 to 6 ml twice or thrice a day depends on pain avoid metrogyl.. In case of any infection or pus discharging than start syrup. Clavam 5ml twice daily.. In case of ulcer seen than start applying rexidine M forte gel or Metrohex gel which ever is available.. try for rexidine M forte gel if possible

continue with syrup. Ibugesic plus fr 3 days after that if it pains then only give it otherwise stop. Rexidine M forte gel in case of ulcer only

No better give him paracetamol And Syrup Clavam(228.5 mg/5ml ) 4-5 ml two times a day( that depends upon his weight actually)

You can  give paracetamol to reduce his pain.  Whether he should be given  metrogyl or not or some other antibiotic instead will depend upon the condition of the tooth. Kindly do not self medicate.

how old is your son? can you point out the tooth which is bothering him now? yes if he does not have allergy to the medicines, you can give him those medicines. most prefered medicinies are amoxiclav and paracetamol
