It's is highly likely that the tooth is infected and causing pain whole chewing . An x-ray is advised to see the extent of the caries / whether the restoration ( filling) is in place of dislodged or broken on the sides and any infection present around the tooth root. If there's infection ,the ideal treatment would be a root canal treatment
