My father aged 68 yrs who is a chest physician needs to have tooth extraction. However, he is severely sensitive to local anaesthesia xylogen. However last year he had pace maker implantation using BUPIVACAINE successfully. Want to know if any dental hospitals in Hyderabad/ India can extract tooth using Bupivacaine.

Is he allergic to lignocaine with adrenaline or plain lignocaine too... As bupivacaine and lignocaine is of same group...and true allergic reaction because of lignocaine is rare while its preparation with adrenaline and some other ingredients can be allergic...so please make it clear first!

Bupivacane is not a generally used in anaesthetic agent but can be procured on demand. Ask your dentist or visit a hospital with a dental setup for the same.
