You have three options and since at this point of time we can not ascertain where is this tooth (front or back) and what are conditions of adjoining teeth. It is very difficult to say what will work for you. Good news is you have a solution for your condition and it is not time taking or very heavy on pocket. Options 1. Get a 3 unit bridge. It's like three crowns joined together the middle one comes on the gap and side ones rest on the two teeth on the gap. Downside of this solution is the the teeth which on side of the gap will be shaped to fit the crown 2. Partial dentures: you can use that but they depending on where your teeth is this solution may or may not be right. 3. Dental Implants : just like a tooth root your implantologist will place an implant post once it fuses with the bone in 3-4 months a crown can be fixed. This is near natural solution for missing teeth.
