If a tooth is fractured ( a root canaled tooth that is not capped can fracture) then an X-ray should be done and if confirmed the tooth may require removal. Antibiotics will not help in this case. The infection will come back again. However the pain could be due to reinfection if there is a problem with the previous root canal. Then you can repeat the root canal to save the tooth. Treatment depends on the diagnosis
