Tonsils infection

My elder kid (3yrs) had tonsils infection and is cured now .i have younger one who is 4.5 months has caught the infection.doc mentioned elder can get infected again .how will this chain break??.is it true that tonsils is recurring??

There is no such rule that tonsillitis will recur. It may or may not. The ways to prevent such infections is influenza vaccine, hand washing ( hand hygiene), good air quality, good nutrition

No need to worry , elder child had adequate immunity at present that’s why he cured.Prevent the spread of cough droplets.This age is very less to tell recurrence. of infection.This age tonsils will enlarge , this is normal phenomenon.

Separate the two kids atleast for 5 days like, should not come in close contract, share the same room air. And if the younger kid had the infection due to the elder one, it is unlikely that the elder kid will get the same infection from the younger one because he would have developed immunity to it

No definite rule that it will recur. Also tonsils getting enlarged in this age happens all the time due to infections, If it's getting infected repeatedly then you will have to consult an ENT specialist.
