Dear Madam, Thank you for your concern. Frequent development of the tonsils is called 'chronic tonsillitis'. Mostly this disease is most commonly seen in paediatric-age-group patients. But some people are found to be very sensitive to the cold items, frequent infections and allergies, and in those people, the chronic tonsillitis is found to be more commonly noted. So I recommend taking medical management first along with some supportive therapy; if not subsided with the medicines, we need to proceed to surgical management.
