Tongue Ulcer

I have 2 tongue ulcers and they are causing lot of discomfort. Usually I get ulcers on inner lip or inner cheek. But this is the first time I getting it on the tongue. What are causes for such ulcer? How do I avoid them? I usually lot of digestive issues too. Is it related to it?
