Tongue become sensitive to spice food

Suddenly my tongue has become sensitive to normal spicy food, it's been over 20 days but it's not getting cured. Have not taken any medications till now. I smoke, but in the last few weeks I've restricted to one or 0 per day. After eating spicy food, some white patches appear on the tongue and goes away within minutes, I feel no spice after it. Mouth opening is normal, few white patches in the inner cheeks.

Quit your smoking altogether. You should consult a maxillofacial surgeon for evaluation and possible treatment options.
