Hello, Tingling sensation in teeth may be due to caries or root exposure of that particular tooth due to receeding gums.

Hello,     To give a proper opinion, please mention if the tingling sensation happens when you have anything hot or cold, or while brushing, or eating, or while exposed to air, while grinding your teeth, or  otherwise when you do not do anything.      In general, tingling can occur on teeth due to erosion, wear, cracks, decay, poor fillings, or other reasons.

Sensitivity due to gum recession or cavities can cause this. The cause has to be treated. Consult a dentist for a regular check up.

Tingling to hot or cold food or just even air ? It all could mean you have caries that’s going a little deep or the gums somewhere are receding exposing the more sensitive root areas.
