Thyroid results in annual checkup

2019-05-23 05:20:16
In my annual checkup done recently; the thyroid test results came as T3 - 99, T4 - 74 and TSH is 5.53. The TSH came in red highlights while the other 2 were ok. Could you please advice what does this mean ? Should I start any treatment for same?

T3 and T4 normal and TSH elevated that means hypothyroidism. Subclinical hypothyroidism. It does not cause any symptoms as of now but later stage it may cause.

TSH is slightly raised. Raised TSH is sign of hypothyroidism. If it’s above 6, then u have to start treatment. Do u have any complaints?
