Using 50mcg Thyronorm from 3 months (still using). 1 day before delivery got to know that I have thyroid 14 points. As per gynec suggestion using 50mcg Thyronorm after delivery (feb-15) to till today. Yesterday again tested and the thyroid value is 2. Lab technician said that it can't reduce that much in short period like 3 months.   Is it true Doctor? - I'm loosing weight so thought because of thyroid but it came to normal now. - loosing weight- lab person said that I may have thyroid before pregnancy ( but I don't have) so during pregnancy it came to 14. Is it true? Thank you Doctor.

Most likely the reading of 14 was a wrong reading. For further details please consult with a General Physician on Practo

When given the correct dose , thyroid control can happen in 6 to 8 weeks.  Hypothyroidism being detected for the first time in pregnancy is common these days.
Next Steps
You need to follow up with a physician or endocrinologist
