Hi, Around 3 days back, I was in travel and due to change of weather and water I developed cough and sore throat (I m prone to cold and cough when weather changes). I started Joshanda (Hamdards) 3 times a day, which I particularly found useful earlier. However, cough was not improving, so I had to take Ambrolite D along with cetzip (cetrizine). The cough got better but throat pain was still there, so I replaced Cetzip with Montek LC (which I used earlier too and I heard is a better medicine than Cetzip). So till date, I have taken medicines for 3 days (2 days Cetzip at night, and 1 day Montek LC, Ambrolite D for past 1 day & Joshanda for last 2 days) My current status is: Cough has reduced, but throat pain is still there and has increased slightly. No fever. Do I need to take additional medicines to cure the throat pain or and for how many days. Should I continue the existing medicines : Montek LC (taken 3 days), Ambrolite D (taken for 1 day) and for how many days?
