Ive recently received a horrible throat pain and when i look in the mirror there is a white blob in my throat, i cant swallow anything as it gives me great pain

Hi These symptoms and the sign u mentioned are of follicular tonsillitis . You need to visit an ent specialist and get yourself examined properly and then take a proper prescription for the problem. Till then do warm saline gargles. Regards
