My mother is 65 yrs old..her periods get stopped at the age of 50..she doesn't hv any symptom but mild pain in waist..
Plz suggest what is the problem and plz give any solution..
In a post menopausal lady thickened endometrium needs to be evaluated and a histobiopsy is confirmatory .so she better needs a hysteroscopy guided biopsy

Your respected mother age is 68 yr. Complaining of mild pain in waist. No ther symptom. Ultrasonography show s endometrium thickened 9.8 mm . According to guidlines in postm enopausal females it should be <4to 5 mm. She should go for clinical examination and hystroscopic evaluation followed by fractional curratage (Endometrial biopsy).
