For what purpose a tetanus injection is prescribed. And how long it's immunity last. Somewhere I read it's 10years and in govt hospital they told it's 6 months, which is right, as I got a injection two months back and today is got small cut by a metal. Do i need it?

A single dose of is valid lasts for 6 months and if you had all vaccine shots during childhood then it'll last for 10year. For now No need to take any because already you had one before 2months so it'll be ok
