You don’t need another dose of TT until 5 years if you have completed your TT vaccination course.(3doses) 5-10 years since the last dose , in case of minor clean wounds no booster required , all other wounds ONE booster is required. If 10 years or more time has lapsed since last dose then in case of both clean minor wounds and other wounds ONE BOOSTER is required. In case you haven’t completed the course or the status is unknown then complete the entire vaccination (3 doses) - in case of minor clean wounds or if you want to complete your course. In case of unclean , dirty , contaminated wounds along with completion of 3 doses , one dose of tetanus immunoglobulins is also required.
