Hi, I have a tooth decay which is on the right lower corner. Would be extracting the same. But very much scared of needles (anesthesia). So can anyone suggest me ,is there any option for Gel,Spray ,Cream which acts as a anesthesia and later needle can be pricked so that it won't be painful and scary for me.! Pls let me know. Thanks.

Yes.. Ask your dentist to use a topical Anaesthesia prior to local one.

Your tooth could be saved with a root canal treatment depending on the amount of tooth structure remaining. The dentist could apply a lignox gel and then prick for it to be less painful. However if the injection is given slowly you would not experience too much pain.so don’t be scared and just visit your dentist for the further treatment..

hi Before giving local anesthesia injection we can apply local anesthetic gel or spray on the area where we are going to inject. This will surely decrease the pain of injection. so don't worry just keep yourself relaxed before your treatment.
