Tooth pain generally appears if there is deep dental caries (decay).
If you are getting pain in the tooth with silver filling it may be because of secondary caries (decay) below the filling.
If intermittent pain only while eating it may be because of fractured filling. It can be addressed by doing a refilling.
In case you are having continues pain better to consult nearby dentist and get a x-ray done for that tooth to see the condition and plan the treatment accordingly
