Good morning madam If the tooth is broken , xray is compulsory to decide further treatment plan . If the concerned doctor has already taken an x-ray and diagnosing for pulpectomy, then please get it done at the earliest. Provided your child is cooperative. It's not paining because it might be in initial stages . If your child is not cooperative, then get the preventive treatment done until the time she becomes cooperative in dental chair.

If your daughter is not able to chew anything, it's better to get pulpectomy done, fracture of tooth may have involved pulp.

Hello.. Welcome to practo.. I advise you to take an x-ray and verify the condition of this primary teeth and permanent teeth also.. The permanent teeth will erupt around 6-7 yrs of age.. So the correct treatment is pulpectomy, but according to the present age of your daughter, its quite difficult sometimes... I advise you to maintain oral hygiene properly, and avoid biting hard with those front teeth.. Show her the procedure of pulpectomy like videos and inform her about the procedure.. So that she can understand a little bit.. And co operate with the treatment without fear.. Later you can go for treatment.. Its completely patient' s convinience.. Without any discomfort, treatment is not compulsory unless verification of the permanent teeth.. Consult me for procedure details.. Thanks..

Can be decided after x ray.  Patient co- operation is also important.

Please share the pics and x ray. In case, pulp is infected/involved,  then pulpectomy is the line of treatment.

Pulpectomy is definitely a good option considering she's just 2 and the tooth needs to be in the mouth till she's 7. Pulpectomy can be an option if in the xray the decay/ fracture line is extending into the pulp. Please discuss in detail with your child's pediatric dentist. Pain is not the only issue that needs to be treated. If left untreated, it could lead to become a swelling as well within the mouth.
