Dear practo user Stains on teeth have various reasons. Discuss with your dentist the causes and their treatment. It's not an emergency procedure so you can wait till things clear

Hi... stains on teeth could be due to use of tea, coffee, tobacco or any other food products. If the stains are mild they might come off with some simple home remedies. Brushing your teeth with baking soda solution can help remove the stains and whiten your teeth as well. Mix one teaspoon of baking soda with two teaspoons of water and brush your teeth with this mixture few times a week. Or you could mix baking soda with hydrogen peroxide and brush with this as well. Mix one teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide with one teaspoon of baking soda and gently brush your teeth few times a week. (Make sure to dilute the hydrogen peroxide with water before using it) If with these remedies the stains do not go away, visit a dentist for professional scaling treatment.
