Hi. It's not recommended,it'll interrupt the quality of treatment.

If you are planning to stop treatment in between. You might as well not start till you have alot of continuing time. This is what I would suggest my patients. Orthodontic treatment takes time. So stopping in between will worsen things. Also if it is an event or travel due to which you are stopping dental braces treatment, clear Aligners would be a possible solution.  Hope this is helpful

You can. But the braces you put after 5 months will  attract the cost of the full treatment.
Next Steps
I will advice you to get clear aligners. These are removable so the 5 months you don't want to wear braces you can use just a retainer at night and start over after 5 months from the last aligner you left from.

It's great that you're considering orthodontic treatment to address the abnormality in your teeth fixture. While the duration of treatment may vary depending on the complexity of your case, it's important to follow the recommended treatment plan for the best results. Typically, orthodontic treatment involves wearing braces consistently for a specific period of time determined by your orthodontist. This allows for the gradual movement and alignment of your teeth. Interrupting the treatment by removing the braces for extended periods, such as 5 months, may compromise the effectiveness and outcome of the treatment. It's crucial to discuss your concerns and preferences with your orthodontist. They will assess your specific case and provide you with the most suitable treatment plan. They can guide you on the estimated duration of treatment and any possible alternatives that may be appropriate for your situation. Remember, consistency and adherence to the recommended treatment plan are key factors in achieving the desired outcome. Trust the expertise of your orthodontist and work closely with them to achieve the best possible results for your teeth.

Not advisable, as it may end up in weakening the bone. Please start when ready, ie after 5 months as mentioned. Proper continuity is needed to achieve good results.

No, this is not how orthodontic treatment work. So, it's better to start the treatment when you can complete (without removing braces in between the treatment).
