Hi there , as an Orthodontist I have seen patient looking for quick solutions. But in most cases if you are looking for great results, dental braces or aligners treatment and sometimes a combination of treatment is needed. Yes quick non-orthodontic options are available but they are more of a camouflage and not really aligning your teeth.  It would be good if you get an Orthodontic check up done. Regarding retainers after orthodontic treatment. Yes in most cases it is not optional. It is essentially needed for maintenance of smile. Hope this helped.  You can visit my social media accounts or our clinic website for such information in detail. Hope this helped.

After braces, transparent aligners/retainers are necessary to prevent any collapse of the new teeth arrangement. Other than braces malaligned teeth can be corrected through veneers, crowns etc. But for that clinical evaluation of discrepancies is necessary.

Hello ma’am, if you have already got your orthodontic treatment done and you still feel that corrections are required then you can go for prosthetic treatment. But yes after the orthodontic treatment, retainer are required. There are different types of retainer for which you can consult an orthodontist once or a good dentist.
