Hi sir....
. Your history seems your child has OVER RETAINED DECIDUOUS (PRIMARY) TEETH....
considering age of your child, it is the age where the front primary teeth falls off and permanent teeth will erupt...
**But sometimes there will be delay in this normal sequence of eruption timing naturally...
**Lingual(inside) eruption of some permanent teeth is also due to over retained primary teeth only...
**But the initial lingual (inside) eruption of permanent teeth in lower front teeth region is normal only ..once the primary teeth falls off, then the permanent tetth will come to its originl position normally
IT IS MANDATORY TO TAKE X_RAY(IOPA) OF THE OVER RETAINED PRIMARY TEETH REGION, TO ACCESS THE CONDITION OF PERMANENT TEETH. THAN ONLY TREATMENT OPTIONS CAN BE MADE...
SOME REASON FOR OVER RETAINED DECIDUOUS TEETH:
** The primary tooth may fused to underlying bone and prevents eruption of permanent teeth
**Absence of permanent teeth
**obstruction in the pathway of eruption,Trauma,or late eruption of permanent teeth itself..
Over retained primary teeth should be treat in order to prevent periodontal problems, Dental caries and tipping of adjacent permanent teeth
TREATMENT FOR OVER RETAINED PRIMARY TEETH:
It depends on condition of primary teeth and surrounding struture
If your child has severe over retained primary teeth then there may be severe missing of permanent teeth, in this situation orthodontic consultation is necessary
If primary teeth is esthetically and structurally acceptable,it can be retained &reshaped using restoration
When primary teeth is crooked, then extraction followed by braces closure
In the absence of permanent teeth, extarction of over retained primary teeth follwed by replacement with fixed teeth or bridges
