Tb medicine after gallbladder surgery
Can i develop TB after gallbladder surgery?
I had surgery on 5th jan this year. After having surgery my infections are not healing. I have some discharge from my belly button. My doctor prescribed R Cinex medicine. My doctor told me this medicine is used for TB. Now I don't understand why did he prescribed my TB medicine without giving me any test? Please help me understand what is going on I am very much tensed.

If any doctor is priscribing you tubercular treatment then he must be have some evidence of tuberculosis.
In post operative pt of cholecystectomy with port site infection can be due to some foreign body like suture material used for suturing or retained part of stone in the port site can be a cause.
Next Steps
if this infection doesn't heal after primary treatment for two weeks then the port site should be explored under anaesthesia.

Getting infected by TB has no relation with gall bladder surgery
The fact that you are having recurrent infections and discharge from the operative site might be a manifestation of abdominal TB
If you had loss of weight then it clinges to the diagnosis more
You can get abdominal TB either primarily or secondary to chest infection
Next Steps
to get some preliminary tests done to rule out tb you can go ahead with
mantoux test, esr, sputum for AFB (3 early morning samples) and chest x ray
consult a general physician also so that he can examine and rule out any other symptoms and signs of TB
