Its good that you acknowledge that you talk to yourself. One reason might be because you lack the company you need in your life or the warmth and closeness to share your feelings comfortably with someone. However if you feel you can hear some voices which nobody else does, and you talk to those voices, then you might be suffering from some psychiatric disorder requiring treatment.
So definitely consult a psychiatrist to understand the reason of your behavior and accordingly the solution to your problem can be devised.
