Kindly Please study attached biopsy report. We consulted one oncologist he mentioned stage 2 cancer and asked us to start medicine course. Please see attched prescription. Please let me know is this really stage 2 ? Is this medicine course helpful to start at this stage ? Is MSI test is necessary at this stage ? Is specimen(tumor tissue) needed for MSI test or blood sample is enough? CEA: 1.73 ng/ML (post operation)

Hi again !! I had previously responded for the query Let me elaborate further .. There are 3 things that require clarification in your case 1 what is the stage ? 2  If stage 2 then what is MSI status ? 3 whether high risk features present or absent ? Patients with properly evaluated pathological STAGE II, without high-risk features and who have MSI-unstable (MSI-H)/dMMR tumors have a favorable prognosis and are not likely to derive "SIGNIFICANT" benefit from chemotherapy in adjuvant setting. Paraffin embedded Tissue blocks are necessary for MSI testing .. Hope I made things clear .. All the best ..warm regards
