Swollen Testicle and Lower Abdomen

For the past few days, my left testicle has been abnormally swollen as well as the area right above it. When I sleep or lay down for a long time I experience pain in the area and have to get up to which lessens the pain. I'm wondering what it could be and potential things I could do to fix it.
