Swollen ring finger

Around a month ago I got injury in my right ring finger while taking a catch from tennis ball, It was swollen and dark but after applying volini gel for few days the swollen became lesser than before but the pain is still there and the upper part of the finger is still swollen. It pains when touched so please advise what to do further to get rid of it.

Get an xray done. It might be fractured. Don't take finger injuries lightly. Consult a hand surgeon with xray.
