Normally there are about 150 lymph nodes in our neck. These lymph nodes get enlarged In response to infection and various other diseases. If the leaf node is not enlarging continuously you should not be worried about it much. Acute enlargement of lymph nodes is seen in various real nose and throat infections. Persistent leave for enlargement may also be seen tuberculosis so it is better to get an USG and FNAC done for the diagnosis. If required these nodes can be removed for diagnosis.
