Swollen lymph nodes
I had swollen lymph nodes in posterior neck for 6 months. No increase in size. Taken course of antibiotics many times. The node is hard and moveable. Can it b lymphoma or cancerous? No other symptoms.One small lump in inguinal region is also palpable.

Normally there are about 150 lymph nodes in our neck. These lymph nodes get enlarged In response to infection and various other diseases. If the leaf node is not enlarging continuously you should not be worried about it much. Acute enlargement of lymph nodes is seen in various real nose and throat infections. Persistent leave for enlargement may also be seen tuberculosis so it is better to get an USG and FNAC done for the diagnosis. If required these nodes can be removed for diagnosis. That lymph node in in the posterior triangle of your neck and it indicates that the real problem lies in your scalp. It could be as innocuous as Dandruff or Seborrheic Dermatitis of your scalp.
